Burevestnik-MK can be equipped with guided or unguided rockets.

Russian media has recently expressed special interest in some types of drones manufactured by Belarus. During the recent arms exhibition, experts focused on the Burevestnik-MK drone, which is capable of effectively performing both reconnaissance and attack missions.

The take-off weight of the drone is 320 kg, maximum speed is about 250 km/h. Burevestnik-MK is capable of operating for up to 10 hours at an altitude of up to 5,000 meters, with a range of more than 1,000 km. According to the manufacturer, in the near future, the operating range of this UAV can even increase by one and a half times. The drone’s wingspan is 9.24 meters, and a cruising speed of about 125 km/h is capable of hitting various targets, including lightly armored vehicles, with missiles.

It is important to note that the quality of communication with the drone remains high at a distance of up to 290 km, which distinguishes the Burevestnik-MK UAV from the Turkish Bayraktar TB2, when no exceed 150 km. All data about the target or battlefield is received in real time. Besides, drones can conduct reconnaissance activities at any time of the day.

The Belarus-made drone is capable of carrying a payload of about 80 kg. The Burevestnik-MK can be equipped with guided or unguided rockets. Meanwhile, currently Russian units are having some problems in attacking enemy targets at long distances, which allows the Ukrainian Army to maneuver and deploy reserve forces in the necessary directions.

In such a situation, the deployment of Belarusian drones will be able to help solve a number of important combat tasks in the rear and on the communication line, especially when Russia lacks a sufficiently reliable means in this role.
