Faced with the attacking power of the Russian Army and the militia in the Donbass, the Ukrainian Army left dozens of tanks and armor intact.

On the afternoon of March 4 local time, the militia of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), discovered in the residential area of Novoaydar under the control of the LPR a large amount of military equipment of the Ukrainian Army that had been left behind.

Most of the weapons and equipment were undamaged and the LPR could use the weapons obtained to strengthen their forces, continuing an assault to expand the borders of Luhansk.

On a video and photo presented, viewers can see a large number of armored vehicles equipped for the Ukrainian Army. Not hard to see, these are Saxon armored personnel carriers that Ukraine bought from the UK in 2015 for £51,000 each.

The Saxon armored vehicles were simply left behind in the hasty retreat of the Ukrainian army. The vehicles did not have any damage, even there were enough weapons and ammunition.

According to Russia’s Sputnik news agency, the Russian military seized four tanks in good condition and ammunition in the Avdiivka area of the Donetsk region. It should be noted that Avdiivka is located on the Donbass line, north of the city of Donetsk.

Based on a 40-second video posted by Sputnik, it can be seen that at least one tank is believed to be the T-64BV Mod 97, equipped with a minesweeping device in the front, located in a carefully camouflaged fortification. At least one shell was left nearby, believed to be APFSDS.

It should be noted that at the present time, there is a large amount of Ukrainian military equipment and weapons abandoned in the Donbass, including air defense systems, tanks, armored personnel carriers and they do not have any any damage. Kiev has not yet commented on this news.
