In a statement posted on Facebook, a member of Ukraine’s negotiating team said: “The third round of negotiations will take place on March 7.”

David Arakhamia, a member of Ukraine’s negotiating team, said that Ukraine and Russia will hold the next round of talks on March 7.

In a notice posted on Facebook, Mr. Arakhamia: “The third round of negotiations will take place on March 7.”

On the same day, the announcement said that in a phone call with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the country was ready for dialogue with Ukraine, and expressed hope that Kiev would take a “reasonable and constructive stance” in the third round of negotiations between the two countries.

Previously, Russia and Ukraine held two rounds of negotiations, on February 28 and March 3.
